the great hair adventure with slow
hi i went to cut my hair ):
but it still looks the same (:
slow and i wanted to go to my "hair dresser" at two step but i told her better not cause it's budget. she might come out looking like a poodle (not that she didn't at the one we went to but...).
it's called... uhh.... i forgot what it's called. ex- something. whatever. it's located at orchard emerald... never heard of it? it's next to OG and UOB... opp john little. that sleazy looking place right smack in the middle of town.

driving down the (101) nicoll highway.
in the times of high stress these days, i have found a fantastic way to destress.
driving with my favourite jazz pieces playing.

Retail Therapy is good for the soul; bad for the wallet
hullo
it's been a long tiring journey since the start of this sem and as usual toward the end of the semester our posts get shorter and shorter as the exams get nearer and nearer. Now that exams are in a week's time, everyone's just about getting jittery and snappy. So just to let everyone relax i shall tell a little story about me.
It begins with a "Long time ago... "
I've always been a geek and a sucker for geeky gadgets. It's a wonder i don't own an mp3. All i have is an MD and a Discman (which i bought for 300 bucks when Ipods were[are] the craze. i'm stupid yes) After countless burning of mds and cds sometimes you get so fed up that you stop burning them altogether because it's just so fucking ley chey. You end up listening to the same bloody CDs yet reminding yourself on the bus ride to go home and churn up another playlist. If you're like me you'd have some of the symtoms:
But of course everything comes with a price for those who are poor (or cheap). I had only 64mb of space on the SD card. That gave me about what, 16 songs? and being lazy i didn't always bother to change the bloody songs. So i went back to the same routine of listening to the same fucking 16 songs everyday to school. OMG i can rap eminem word for word and do in sync air punches with my chemical romance. But because i'm a poor and cheap student, it sufficed to alleviate some of the annoying morning commute. UNTIL.
The left earphone started fraying and suddenly, i was commuting to school every morning with Augustana pelting out tunes in my right ear and young secondary school girls bitching in my left ear. But what can i do? I can't change the headphone jack cause it's those phone handsfree set thingies. Buy a new one? Nah not worth it. And to make matters worse, the entire world was taken over by the ipod revolution. Everywhere you go you see those suspicious white earbuds peeking out. Not to mention how apple made the bloody things so goddamned delicious. Everyone's plugging in, have you plugged in yet????? THE SOLUTION.
After debating for almost 5 years, i came to a conclusion(solution). In the midst of understanding aggregate expenditure versus aggregate product and the cobb douglas model, i finally had it! I stood up, looked bravely into my friend's eyes, and told him i had to leave him for a short while. I was to embark on a perilous journey to save myself from eternal torture. He knew my heart was true and didn't stop me from my calling. I hopped on the mrt and headed for Cineleisure.

Unveiling the gadget that will make me disappear into myself even more:

ooh the sweet seduction of steve jobs. Even the casing was oh-s0-pretty. compact and minimalistic, apple is seriously getting slightly satanic.
They even gave me a "genuine leather" nano case, and let me choose from many different colors too. "....."
well, it was worth $39 bucks so it's really not too bad.
It's really cool how they packaged it. Peel away the sticker and "WALA!"

if we're through we get to perform every friday nights from 7pm - 8pm.. PAID! :) (Based on a percentage of their ice-cream sales) Guys must come support!!!

yeah i know. at 12mn i wasnt there with you guys.
didnt really wanna play lah.
but somehow going there wasnt such a horrid idea either.
girls called me for supper and i guess i couldve had supper and pop over when i was done.
christie and dawn la. wanted to catch up on dawns progress since i missed the show on 8th oct.
i waited for them to finish work and trot down to the east.
from like 830 was first contact to 12mn i gave up waiting.
a few phone calls in between.
damn shiok. i waited rather long. and time swept by.
soon, i was like, "oh bedtime"
ciao homies. no supper. no dota.
just one lonely boy.
its all good lah. just hope u guys dont hold it against me.
i know i dont have to explain myself.
