Penal Code s. 377A

I am saddened that pple in Singapore today still choose to oppress and criminalise sexual minorities like gays and lesbians, bisexuals and transexuals.

not thinking that because society has placed them as social rejects, the "weird ones", the "different ones", they are instead the ones that need our protection and understanding, and ACCPETANCE that they are just who they are.

Some are also unable to differentiate between DE-CRIMINALISING gay sex and Criminalising gay sex, the former doesnt mean we are legalising gay sex nor accepting them. Its an assertion that clearly states we should not treat other members of society any different from us just because of sexual, racial, or gender differences.

Instead, we are trapped in an illogical and disproportionate fear of homophobia in a society that defends itself simply by the reason of being "conservative" or "culturally unacceptable".
