Good Evening

Good evening my dearest friends,

As you may or may not know, I am currently 20.999 yrs old. That means my 21st is just around the corner. To mark this extremely auspicious date, I have decided to have a small gathering at dbl-o this Thursday night. (Read: gathering. I did not book the whole place. I’m too poor, no money. And yes I’m hoping to get a table as well.) As thanks to your presence, I have decided to buy my dearest friends rounds of drinks to add to the fun and the merry of the night. I thank you also for your swift response to my invitation but due to the incredible difficulty in organising and tying down the minor details earlier this evening, I have decided to come clean and just post it here for all to read. If you do read, please help to spread the message to all my dearest friends, just in case they do not read this informative post in time.

First and foremost, Thursday I will have a room for you all, at raffles the plaza (subject to change and availability: other possible options are swissotel the stamford/swissotel merchant court) if you wish to stay over after the drunkening experience or if you have school on Friday and wish to 'pre-dump' your bags at a convenient location.

Also, you will have the luxury of choosing:
1. To meet at the hotel room before heading down together to dbl-o!
2. To meet us there straight away!

Those who are free prior to the event are advised to join us at the rooms as we'll be heading down at around
10pm. those who have prior arrangements, are always welcome to join us at dbl-o itself. Ladies entry shall be waivered (cos it's ladies' night and it feeling's right!). Guys please pay your cover charge yourself ($20). Sorry for the inconvenience.

I do hope it turns out to be a wonderful evening for all my dearest friends as that's the least I can wish for. Any queries please ask me online or call or sms. If you feel a need to bring some friends, please do so as well. Anything to make your experience more desirable. I look forward to your presence on Thursday night. Thank you for your time and have a great evening.

Yours sincerely,
Ian.
