touched down in jersey yesterday afternoon. well it's not exactly touching down as we took a bus. Carried our shopping bags and backpacks from madison hotel and took the bloody subway to the bus station, then took 2 buses to reach wildwood. i felt like i was carrying manchi on my back. she almost broke it the last time =)
wildwood is well.... wild. houses are almost all empty, ready to be rented out to summer folks who'll come down to Morey's piers for some amusement park fun. We're bunking in an 86 year old house, of which this will be her final year. Next year they'll botox the house - new floors, toilets, walls etc. The accomodation isn't really that bad. It was sparse when we first saw it but now it's really cosy. We did area cleaning and packed in all our clothes for the next 2 months. We have a food table and drawers for shirts and stuff. My new clothes took up one whole drawer itself, and spilt over to the other one too.
Just now we just did laundry and washed all the bedsheets and blankets. Feels sooooo good now with everything getting in order. I cooked yummy healthy soup just now too. Potatoes, mushrooms, carrots and chicken. dinner was instant noodles with the soup. not too bad... me and greg will cook steak for the girls on maybe monday... we realized the girls can't cook. haha... they bought so much junk but can't cook. so we cook and they wash... good deal i think. love cooking when people wash up for me!
internet here is really good. We played 2 games last night... not too laggy la.. for wireless. Considering i can't even play at home with my own wireless. The guy next door is playing WoW now. think i'll join him soon..shouldn't lag cause it's US server!
i'll be online everyday 24/7 now... just leave the laptop running. anyone need anything just leave a msg.
anyway gonna bathe and then dota. hahaaha peace out. hope the rest of you all aren't too shag from working. me greg and ian are gonna be lifeguards. HAHAHAHA.
